Schools have been operating under the same educational model for hundreds of years preparing the students to perform routine tasks required for the production and industrialized world. Very little has functionally changed since students sat in rows in one-room schoolhouses, chanting lines and writing on slates.

In recent years, however, schools worldwide have been turning toward Edtech to break up that traditional educational model. Abundant online tools are now available to teachers the students, but with growing class sizes and shrinking budgets, finding effective ways to implement technology can be daunting.

The idea of blended learning arose as a flexible and easy way to incorporate technology into any classroom without adding too much to the already packed curriculum. You’ve probably heard the term “blended learning” or “hybrid learning” before. Technically speaking, blended learning combines online learning with traditional instruction to guide students along a set learning path. In other words, it means using an online tool that gives your students some extra control over their learning in your classes. The goal is to create a more engaging, effective, and customizable experience for each student.

To be considered hybrid learning or Integrative blended learning, a curriculum must include three things:
  1. Traditional instruction components in a classroom setting with a teacher mentoring.
  2. Online learning components where the student has some control over pace, location, content, or timing.
  3. Combining part of their course curriculum specializing in Core Learning Schools, working on problem-solving live- projects.
No content/lesson repetition between online and traditional sessions should be there, by which the students and the teachers save precious learning time, and utilizing in a better preparing them in their understanding.

The last point is what separates blended learning from other forms of using technology in classroom implementation. In blended learning models, every lesson, whether online or in the classroom, has a new learning objective for the student.
Integrative blended Learning is collective collaborative learning that emphasizes projects, using technology and In-person classroom theoretical learning to foster critical thinking and creativity through adaptive modulation of core schooling for a better experience and holistic knowledge at all levels of learning.

Integrative Blended learning uses technology to combine in-class and out-of-class learning in core schools using real-life project works, and Online simulations to maximizing the educational impact on students' results. Integrative Blended learning has become the latest educational program to make an impact in today's classrooms. From Schools to Universities and Workplaces, it's being used to bring the digital world and In-Person classroom teaching together with real-world projects.
